We are seeking a Chief Officer/Consultant in Public Health posts to be part of our dynamic and collaborative public health team, and key members of the city’s public health leadership team.  We have designed our Chief Officers to be broad in their scope to be leaders in all aspects of public health, albeit with responsibility for a specific area of practice. For this role we are seeking someone who will have responsibilities for Public Mental Health & CCG Strategic Commissioning, but you will also lead on cross-cutting public health functions for the city. 

You will be a strategic leader, driving improved health and wellbeing with Leeds communities, with a relentless focus on reducing health inequalities.  In addition to working across Leeds City Council as a public health organisation, these roles require excellent relationships and joint working with Leeds Clinical Commissioning Group, other NHS partners, Public Health England, community, and private sector organisations and other key partners, as well as with the people of Leeds.  

This  demanding, varied and interesting role require individuals who are highly skilled and experienced across a broad range of public health leadership roles and have a strong track record of delivery, working in collaboration with others.
